		THE .HOG FILE .HOG files are used by Descent 1/2 and they contain other files. Here are two of the most common: .rdl/.rl2 - These are the actual level files. The are VERY necessary. .pog - POG files include custom graphics with a level. Descent2 v1.2 is necessary in order to play these levels. .HOG EDITOR Descent Mission Builder 2 has a built in .hog editor! In the .hog editor you can import .pog files created in DTX2 or other programs and export files to a directory, to edit them perhaps. You can also rename files on the fly. All within DMB2!! 3rd PARTY APPLICATIONS For other editing you'll need some of the proggies avaliable on the web: Descent Manager The Descent Manager is a good place to start. YAHOMA Visit the YAHOMA homepage for more information and download. Descent Studio Don't get caught trying to edit .HOGs without this valuable editor. DTX / DTX 2 This keen program let's you edit graphics and sound for your level. Hoggle Another HOG editor. Fancy that! Next thing you know i'll have links to pages about Descent.
