 CUBE BREAKDOWN

Cube

 THE EDIT TOOLBAR
You can use the Edit Tool Bar in whichever mode you're editing, but since you'll spend most of your time with cubes, I thought I'd mention it here.

Each button moves cubes, sides, lines, points, and objects. Use them to resize and reshape your cubes. The buttons corresponds with keys on the KeyPad of your keyboard, you can use either.

 CUBE DATA
The Cube Data box gives you all the details about the selected cube.

Cube Type is what you use to make a cube a goal, or a fuel center, etc...

Use the Wall/Trigger Details to add, delete or edit walls & triggers in the selected cube.

Add, Delete, and Other do what they say, but don't forget about the shortcuts!

 CUBE INSERT MODE
On the far right of the MenuBar exists a pull-down menu box:

Side, line, etc. don't matter when inserting cubes, just the following:

  • Normal - Inserts a 20x20x20 cube on the side selected. If selected side is larger or smaller, the cube will adjust to 20x20x20 on opposite side.

  • Extend - Inserts a cube proportional to the current cube in respect to the selected side.

  • Mirror - Pretty self evident. It creates a mirror image cube on the side selected.

 EDITING BLOCKS
A Block is a group of marked cubes.

To mark a cube, simply select it and press "M". To select a group at a time,
left click and drag a box around the cubes you want to mark.

Cutting and pasting blocks could drive anyone mad. Instead of accepting madness, try this little exercise. I hope it'll give you enough of an understanding to help you on your way.
